Alicia's Mom
They got to Alicia’s house and walked right in. “Hello Emily and Alex, Alicia is up in her room, still sleeping.” Emily walked up the stairs first thinking of the worst way to wake her friend up. She walked into the room and tapped Alicia on the shoulder. “Go away…” Alicia rolled over. Emily looked back at Alex and they both had the same idea. They hopped onto her bed and started jumping on it. “Stoppp,” Alicia said, rolling over once again, but this time falling out of bed. Emily and Alex collapsed onto her bed, laughing hysterically. “What is wrong with you guys?!” Alicia yelled, still groggy. “I tried waking you up nicely,” Emily said, now giggling.
Just then, the door opened and in walked Patrick and James. James, in Emily’s opinion, was just about as gorgeous as you can get. He had midnight black hair parted on the side so it covered his one eye, snakebites, his bridge pierced, eyeliner, and always the band shirt paired with a pair of girl pants. Emily was a sucker for boys in girl’s pants. Especially this one. “Are we interrupting something?” Patrick joked, laughing at Alicia, who was still on the floor. “I see Alicia slept late -- again,” James said with a smile on his face.
“Are we all awake enough to go practice now?” Emily asked, getting off the bed and walking towards the door. “I am,” James replied. “I wanna go practice!” Alex ran towards the door, opened it, and ran to the basement. “He is so stupid,” Emily said, running after him.
When she got down there, Alex had already started messing around with his bass. Emily walked over and picked up her guitar. She slipped the strap over her head, then ran her fingers down the neck of the guitar, admiring it. She put her hands over the decorated surface. Doodles and stickers littered it, her favorites being the red and black nautical stars she drew. She strummed a few strings, making sure it was in tune.
By then everyone else had made their way downstairs. Patrick sat down behind his drum set, fumbling around with his drumsticks, Alicia took her spot in front of the mic, and James grabbed his guitar, which looked similar to Emily’s, but his was black and red, not black and white. “I wanna play All Nereids Beware. I love that song,” Emily stated. “Em, I don’t feel like it. And I know you only want us to sing that so you can hear James scream for the short amount of time that he does.” “That’s a lie and you know it! I just love that song. Come on!” “Alicia, we’ve all known my sister since we were little. You know she isn’t gonna give up ‘til we play it.” Patrick laughed, adding, “You know it’s true. She’s so stubborn, even her mother gives into her. And you know her mom is tough to persuade.” Emily smiled an innocent smile, causing James to laugh. “Emily, you are the least innocent out of us all. If I hadn’t been there when you punched out that ninth grader last year, I would consider thinking you were.” “Dude, he was calling me emo! What was I supposed to do? Tell him to shut up?” “That would have sufficed.” “Well, James, we have known each other since the first day of kindergarten, and you should know me enough to know that I wouldn’t settle for just telling him to shut up.” “I do know you well. Very well. I’ve seen your baby pictures. Those are the most embarrassing things you’ve got. Especially the one of you in the tub…” “Oh my God! My mom showed you that one?! I’m gonna kill her!!!” Alex doubled over in laughter. “I agree, that picture of you is embarrassing. That’s why you can never do anything to me. I know exactly where that picture is and I could blackmail you with it.” “Alex, I have embarrassing pictures of you too! I seem to remember Mom taking pictures of you as a toddler running around the house naked.” “Those pictures never leave the photo album. NEVER.” [/blockquote]
sorry it sucks so bad.

Alicia's Mom
Emily stepped out into the bright afternoon sun, her skateboard in one hand and her cell phone in the other. “Fuck,” she muttered, turning away to get the sun out of her eyes. “Alex, you coming?” “Yeah, I’m right behind you.”[/b] A brown haired boy walked out of the house behind her, also clutching a skateboard. “We’re meeting at Alicia’s house, right?” Emily asked as she turned towards her brother. He nodded, then started off to her house. Emily caught up quickly, seeing as he didn’t get very far ahead. “You think we’re gonna make it?” “Sis, I know we are. The band is doing better than it ever has.” His positive outlook put a smile on her face.
